Origin Of Technology
Technology is the set of knowledge, skills, expertise and techniques whereby individuals change, transform and use our environment to be able to create machines, tools, products and solutions which satisfy our needs and desires. Etymologically the term comes from the Greek tekne (technical, art, ability ) and logos (knowledge)
The origin of this technology dates back to the Stone Age, when our ancestors found the presence in nature of a collection of rock (silex, quartz, obsidian…) extremely hard which could mould and sharpen it, this discovery with expertise developed to sharpen enabled them to create the initial knives, axes and cutting tools that eased the work of hunting to in order to ensure a daily food ration.
